Latest news: Spare body parts could be grown in factories in years after scientists implant lab-produced organs in humans: great news, scientifically; but we can imagine IP law descending to ruin it. Imagine patents on body parts. “Sir, Sir! Your kidney is not authorized! We are here to retrieve it and steamroll it!” Farfetched? Not at all.
