“IP as a Force for Good”: The Banality of Evil

Adapted from a Twitter post:

The banality of evil on full display: IP shill and buffoon Gene Quinn and clueless technocrat Darren Tang of WIPO mirthfully yapping along and praising “IP as a Force for Good”. Πάτερ, ἄφες αὐτοῖς, οὐ γὰρ οἴδασιν τί ποιοῦσιν. (“Father, forgive them; they do not know what they are doing.” Luke 23:34)

Here is the latest 2025 International IP Index from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce that they praise for inspiring developing countries to try to “strengthen” their intellectual “property” laws to match the fascistic, insane, US imperialist approach: 2025 International IP Index. Sadly, IP imperialism–lobbying on behalf of US Big Pharma, Hollywood, and the Music Industry—really does work.
