Manuel Lora called to my attention the following interview from October 12, 2012 of Fernando Herrera, of Universidad Francisco Marroquín, on “Propiedad intelectual: una creación del Estado” (Intellectual property: a creation of the State). My Spanish is weak but Manuel explained to me that Herrerra explains how both patent and copyright are creatures of the state and incompatible with free markets and individual liberty.
