Judge Makes Company Pay More For Infringement Because The CEO Complained Publicly About The Patent System from the first

As I noted in the blogposts collected in Are anti-IP patent attorneys hypocrites?, if you buck the IP system you can expect to get extra scrutiny, especially if you are part of the system–i.e., if you have any credibility. In a recent situation, reported on Techdirt, Judge Makes Company Pay More For Infringement Because The CEO Complained Publicly About The Patent System, merely expressing disagreement with the existing fascist IP regime penalizes those bucking it.
